L’Origine, a traditional townhouse in the beautiful village of Collioure, on the French Catalan coast, has been sympathetically converted into two separate apartments both appointed and equipped to the highest standards.
The ground floor, two bedroom apartment is level with the garden, parking area and a large terrace. The apartment sleeps 4-6 people and available to all yet is fully wheelchair accessible and equipped for people with a spinal injury, their family and carers.
Getting around Collioure is relatively easy, even in a chair. The old town of Collioure is pedestrianised and the short distance walk from L’Origine to the seashore is suitable for both paras and tetras....there is a bit of crazy paving along the way so there are one or two bumps but nothing to prevent you enjoying getting out and about- you can even make it all the way around the bay and really get a real flavour of this beautiful coastal town.
The first floor apartment has its own entrance up a flight of external steps leading to a large roof terrace and the main door. The apartment sleeps 4-6 people but is not accessible for wheelchair users.
Both apartments can be booked independently or can be booked together for those wishing to holiday with their extended family or friends.
Set in the heart of Collioure, around 200 metres from the Market Place and 400 metres from the seafront. L’Origine is a place of calm amid the hustle and bustle of the busy town with its numerous cafes, restaurants, shops and attractions. The town, which is not far from Perpignan and only 30 minutes from mainland Spain, is charming and the local people friendly and considerate, making it the ideal place for a relaxing but interesting holiday. The region is renowned for its colourful history, artists past and present, luscious citrus trees and cuisine.

The apartments have well proportioned bedrooms and bathrooms and light and airy open plan living areas allowing visitors freedom to enjoy their well appointed surroundings. Direct access to the outdoor eating areas mean visitors can delight in the Mediterranean outdoor lifestyle choosing sunny spots to catch the best of the weather or shady areas for a quiet, post lunch, snooze. |
