Origin Personal Assistants are everyday people who like a challenge, have a positive attitude and are looking for a completely different working experience.  Origin offer flexibility, free training, an excellent rate of pay and the opportunity to travel.

Where else can you get all that?

Long term difference

I’ve been an Origin PA for nearly four years now and because of my experience have now become an Advanced PA.  I still love my job, the variety and flexibility, meeting people, helping people and making a difference to people’s lives.  Of course the extra money I earn as an Advanced PA is great but as well as that I have also got more responsibility.  At the moment I am the PA for a man who has just come out of hospital after his spinal injury.

Career ahead

I’d never though of doing this type of work before but I’m starting nurse training in September and I wanted to do something which would give me some relevant experience.  Now I’m going into nursing with skills that are really going to help me a lot.  It’s not just the medical side of things but also learning how to get on with people.

Learning new skills

I’ve done all sorts of jobs like teaching English abroad, scuba teacher and lifeguard so a 9 - 5 job would be too boring.  Being a PA means every day is different, I have met some really great people and had the opportunity to learn new skills.  Sure, you have some long days but it’s not like you’re sat at a desk or something, you are doing different things and really helping someone to live their life as they want.  Anyone could do this job, all you need is a bit of understanding.
